“It will stretch a little,” the dentist said as he introduced a cotton pad between my teeth and cheek. It joined another pad, a small drill, a curved mirror, a random number of gloved fingers, a water hose, and the tip of a vacuum cleaner.
“Breath through your nose as much as possible.” Such a simple action had suddenly become much more challenging now that two people were shoving fingers and equipment in my mouth. All this because I had cracked a tooth eating nut bread and that the chip had fallen off on a piece of chocolate. Chew slowly kids. It will save you a lot of pain.

I bet you liked have the gloved fingers shoved into your mouth.
Not really. It tastes kind of bad and it really impedes on natural breathing. Not to mention the contraption they install around the tooth; very reminescent of the inquisition...
