051129 Low-riders and road-tripping

You know you are in California when suddenly all the pissers in public restrooms turn to low-rider. It’s great you sprinkle your feet at the same time you empty your bladder. Aside from getting my feet wet I got to walk around San Francisco for half a day. I have to say that road-tripping with your significant other family is a good try of your patience. I occasionally wanted to wring some necks but I abstained. It’s the last week of the term and the stress is really high. I have 15 pages worth of papers due by 1200 on Friday. Aaarrrggh!

051122 Inane rambling to force myself to make a post

I have had to scrape the ice off my windshield for the last two days now. There was even a little bit of ice on the driveway. It wouldn’t take much for me to get stuck home considering that my driveway is about 15% steep and uphill. I am going down to San-Francisco tomorrow night.

051110 Scar

Last night I managed to chop a good chunk of my upper lip off. It has been close to 24 hours now and I still have a big crusty scab. I look like an idiot. I shall not speed-shave anymore.

051108 Weather

Bad news for all of us Oregonians, NPR announced this morning that experts predicts this winter to be wetter than last (not hard) but also wetter than average. (very bad) On unrelated business I think that I didn't completely flunk my Media Theory midterm today.

051102 Lesbian robots have sex during class

If anyone had told me that one day I would go to class and see lesbian robots have sex I would have laughed. No longer will I dare such a thought. Those of you who know me know that I am no prude nor bigot but there is an odd feeling creeping in my mind. Why the hell am I paying for this? It was a student playing videos for the instructor today as he wasn't there. Maybe we could cut spending by not paying instructors for the classes they do not teach? At least the video improved my morale for the day. I was pretty upset this morning after I found the lid of the pot I cooked curry in on top of the microwave this morning. Curry in my tummy is good, curry on the microwave is a greasy, sticky mess.
